My car has leatherette from two years and it looks fine. Nobody has ever questioned me whether it's real or not.

Leather is expensive and luxurious. There can be no compromise on this aspect.

Leather upholstery comes with big bill and can wear out faster. It’s not for you if you plan on keeping this car for a while, less maintenance.
